Conservation project

This former rectory presented a challenge to the design team. The building had been added to with ugly extensions to the rear over the years and had no proper kitchen or bathroom. The solution was to demolish the entire section of extensions to the rear and build a new two storey block with a feature round entrance foyer with bathroom over. The extension to the side of the house links into the newly created kitchen and creates a bright and practical family room. The materials and construction methods were all carefully selected to be sympathetic to the existing traditional building.
